Montreal, Quebec, August 23, 2017 – Gazelle.ai, an ROI Research on Investment company, recently acquired premium licensing rights to the business information platform company Crunchbase.
The agreement provides Gazelle.ai full API access to Crunchbase’s data, giving a robust boost to its already powerful platform. Adding access to the Crunchbase dataset – along with their advanced search and monitoring capabilities – adds yet another rich component to Gazelle.ai’s own dataset.
Gazelle.ai uses over 190 data points to analyze a company’s growth potential, helping economic development organizations target the most attractive and relevant companies to their region. The move also brings the number of companies in the Gazelle.ai database to over two million.
Steven Jast, Founder and President of ROI Research on Investment, expressed his enthusiasm about the move: “Acquiring access to the data from such a well-respected and trustworthy company like Crunchbase is another milestone for our Gazelle.ai product. We’ll use the information to provide even more value to our rapidly-growing customer base. Gazelle.ai is already the smartest database for identifying and attracting growing companies; now we can add yet another method, in key areas like the tracking of venture capital investment”
Crunchbase CEO Jager McConnell, is similarly pleased with the move, adding “We’re happy to team up with the Gazelle.ai team – their product provides a valuable resource for those who want the best and most up-to-date information to make decisions. This partnership aligns our goals of making sure the cleanest and most robust data is available and accessible to those who need it.”
Gazelle.ai is currently available in beta to customers in the U.S. and Canada, moving to a fully commercialized launch in autumn 2017.
